My Role on this Project
While working at Munchkin Inc., I was tasked with identifying some common concerns with prior mirrors sold by Brica. I looked carefully at competitor mirrors and designed an optimized mounting system that is both easy to install and secure on bumpy rides. Through mock-ups and testing, I worked to determine the optimal field of view for the curved mirror, providing parents with the peace of mind of being able to clearly see their infants at all times.

Evolving the Category
Making Brica More Competitive
The original Baby In Sight Mirror, while still selling well, was falling behind on Munchkin's Customer Satisfaction quota. To be competitive in the Infant Mirror Category, Brica needed a new entry that securely installs to passenger headrests and could celebrate a refined construction that matches Munchkin's VBL. This product elevates Munchkin and Brica's positioning as a baby lifestyle brand.

Easy Setup for Busy Parents
Durable straps hold the 360 Baby In Sight Pivot Mirror securely to the second row headrests. A foam-backed mounting plate and robust plastic buckles keep the mirror steady on bumpy roads. The high-friction ball and socket pivot feature stays in place throughout the drive, but is easy to adjust one handed for even the busiest of parents.
